Dear All,

I am picking up from where I left off when I exited NFDC in 2018. In this time, a lot has changed in the film industry landscape. I have been working on a new venture that speaks to these changes - more on that soon!

For the moment, I am launching this newsletter where I will be sharing tips on our industry and craft, such as how to make Cannes work best for you, what you, as the creator, need to know about streaming platforms, transitioning from shorts to long-form films, forging international partnerships, and other topics relevant to today’s film professionals.

About me

My career in the Indian film industry began in 1998 when I worked in the Government of India on film policy. During my 12 years at NFDC (2006-18), I enjoyed creating new initiatives for the film industry, including Film Bazaar, South Asia’s first and biggest film market.

I have recently launched a new venture, Cinevesture, aimed at enabling the business of film through various verticals in the domestic and global space.
